IT'S EASY TO HELP
MOVERS AND DRIVERS
Movers and drivers are needed Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to noon to pickup, deliver and store furniture.
Movers and drivers volunteer for one Saturday morning per month.
Movers and drivers must be physically capable of moving furniture up to and including a sofa/sleeper. Locations often include first, second and occasionally third floor apartments.
Covenant Presbyterian provides a Chevy Suburban, cargo trailer and fuel.
SCHEDULING COORDINATORS
Coordinators receive emails and calls from furniture donors and social workers that request furniture for families in need.
The coordinator produces a Saturday run sheet that the drivers and movers utilize on Saturday mornings.
